| Consequences: (Card changing system) |
|
1. Warning, (turn card around) Green light. |
2. Miss 5 minutes of recess, yellow light. |
3. Miss 10 minutes of recess, yellow light. |
4. Miss 15 minutes and write letter to parent or a call home. (whichever is needed) Can be isolated lunch. Red light. |
5. SEVERE Will go to office! (if other options have failed) |
Along with the consequences, as part of our district wide “Character Counts” program, we stress to the students the Responsibility pillar. Under this pillar is taking responsibility and ownership of ones actions. The students should be able to tell their parents reasons for a card change. |
